    Giraffes translocated from Murchison Falls National Park to Kidepo Valley National Park

    On 12th august 2018, the first batch of five giraffeswas successfully translocated from murchison Falls National Park to Kidepo Valley National park.

     

    Giraffes are the tallest mammals on earth, their legs alone are taller than most humans. they can run as fast as 35 miles per hour over short distances!

    Thanks to the UWA translocation team, this is a job well done
